Making light work
June 1st 2009

High traffic areas can be difficult to get clean first time with traditional carpet cleaning machines, often requiring more than one pass to gain satisfactory results. Pull back carpet cleaners can also have health and safety issues relating to tilting back heavy machinery to manoeuvre them. The new CEM 135 from Premiere tackles both of these key issues.

The CEM 135 operates counter rotating brushes which agitate the fibres of carpets from both directions in one pass, to give a 'true deep clean'. An adjustable water flow and high water lift vacuum system ensures maximum dirt removal from even heavily soiled carpets in one pass.Areas can be cleaned quickly and efficiently and the powerful vacuum unit on the CEM 135 means that carpets dry quickly, allowing high traffic areas to be back in operation in as little as one hour after cleaning.

The patented 'click technology' in the CEM 135 means that a push of the handle lifts the brushes out of contact from the carpet allowing it to be easily pushed forward and positioned for the next section. This is easier for the operator than traditional carpet machines which require tilting, and reduces the risk of injury.

Operating noise level is a low 60 decibels.
