The two free seminar programmes are organised by the National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA) and Federation of Window Cleaners (FWC).

The Carpex seminar programme, orchestrated by the NCCA, will cover many aspects of running a successful carpet and upholstery cleaning business.

Topics scheduled for inclusion by a confirmed panel of expert speakers include health & safety, specialist fire & flood restoration techniques, carpet & upholstery protection, insurance, new carpet cleaning techniques, dry carpet cleaning and marketing.

The Windex seminars, organised by the FWC, will include presentations entitled:Why you should join the Federation of Window Cleaners; working at height regulations; avoiding repetitive strain injuries from the use of a squeegee; choosing the correct van insurance policies for window cleaners with wfp systems; an overview of powered access platforms and usage in the cleaning sector; access in terms of training and a health & safety perspective; NVQ training; marketing your window cleaning business; employment law; personal protective equipment and window cleaning insurance.
