February 1st 2004 The new CV 30/1 brush-type Vacuum Cleaner from Krcher is the first Krcher upright model to use a single motor to drive both the suction fan and brush, this new design means the vacuum is very lightweight (8kg) and requires minimal maintenance.
Ideal for use by contract cleaners, the hotel, leisure and healthcare industries, this vacuum has a cleverly designed brush head, which, thanks to its wide 300 mm working width and low profile allows easy cleaning of hard to reach areas such as underneath beds and low-level furniture. The CV 30/1 is supplied with two accessories; - a crevice tool, which enables efficient vacuuming of difficult to reach areas such as between walls and furniture and an upholstery tool, both of which can be neatly stored on the back of the machine.
The belt driven roller brush ensures deep and thorough cleaning of carpets, and also restores their pile at the same time. The height of the brush can be adjusted manually to suit different carpet weights and will pick up fluff and hairs as well as coarse dirt and, to ensure thorough cleaning of areas the brush head cannot reach, there is an in-built flexible suction hose.
One important new design feature is that the filter bag, motor protection filter and exhaust air filter are all easily accessible from the front of the unit. The filter bag is made from a new fleece material that is tear-resistant and can hold up to three times more dust than conventional filter bags, additionally, a clearly visible warning lamp indicates when a filter change is due. As an optional accessory a HEPA motor exhaust air filter is available, this seriously worthwhile accessory is invaluable to asthma sufferers, ensuring allergen-free vacuuming and reliably retaining even very fine dust and mites.
