Heavy duty blast cleaner
June 1st 2006

The Preparation Group, has launched a new heavy duty blast cleaning machine capable of production rates of up to 400m2/hour. It is aimed at flooring contractors and surface preparation specialists where high performance, reliability and low maintenance is vital.

It utilises two independent impeller wheels driven by high powered motors. These wheels are mounted side by side for maximum cleaning impact on the surface being prepared, producing an evenly distributed blast pattern 550mm wide in a single pass.

The PPC 2-20DTF will prepare horizontal steel surfaces, such as ships decks and storage tanks to SA 21/2 standard. It will also produce an anti-slip profile on, and remove old paint and laitence from concrete, stone and asphalt – handy for medium to large contracts on industrial and warehouse floors, garages, ships decks, storage tanks, airport runways, highways, bridge decks etc.
