South London cleaning firm Chequers Contract Services has just scooped a major new contract and a Silver Envibe Award for its environmentally conscious approach.

The contract for One Housing Group in Camden, North London, includes the St Pancras Estate and covers general cleaning, window cleaning and garden maintenance. Alongside added value, the One Housing Group awarded the contract on the strength of Chequers' intent to reduce its environmental impact.

The firm has been working with ENVIBE and other specialists to make positive improvements to its environmental performance.

ENVIBE provides hands on support and rewards environmental good practice via an awards scheme.After receiving its bronze award at the end of last year, Chequers has now achieved silver status.
