High water needn't be hell
October 1st 2007

The recent summer flooding that struck much of the country cost home owners and insurers billions of pounds in damage. With some scientists predicting that climate change will lead to more flooding in the future these costs are likely to increase further. Five million people in England and Wales now live in high risk flood areas – and the increasing number of developments being built on or near to flood plains will only serve to exacerbate the problem. With these statistics The Ideal Group says it looks probable that many home and business owners will be calling on it for its specialist services in fire and flood restoration. The company's rapid incident response unit provides professional emergency services that can be deployed anywhere in the world. The group has a wealth of experience in dealing with all types of flooding. From a simple burst water main causing damage to several properties, to river flooding across a widespread regional area, the company has dealt with them all and is regularly called on by insurance companies, loss adjusters, surveyors and facilities groups. By utilising the latest technology (including Arid Air and Dryair Rapid Drying Systems,Water Out and ETES system) the group claims to be the only operator in the country that has all four of these advanced technologies as weapons in its arsenal. The advanced Arid Air Rapid Drying System is a portable solution designed to create a stable, low-humidity environment, which is vital for speedy reinstatement. Complete with a remote management system, the Arid Air can be operated both on and off-site – allowing heat to be delivered safely and efficiently when and where required. The Ideal Group says it is also the only licensed distributor of the Arid Air Rapid Drying System in the South East. Recently, the group helped the Sydney Smith School in Kingston upon Hull following the summer floods. The emergency unit was deployed and the restoration work meant that part of the school was dried and reopened in time for the start of the new term, with the remaining restoration works continuing with minimal disruption for pupils.
