Dried and tested compact kit December 1st 2007 This summer's floods look likely to become more frequent than just a freak event. EIP says its deflooding and drying tools help homes and businesses recover faster
This summer's flooding took us all by surprise and has taught us some very valuable lessons. Unfortunately it seems highly likely that they won't be a freak event: homes businesses and commercial properties remain at risk. With this in mind EIP has introduced a dual voltage version of its Kompact dehumidifier.
With over 1,000 units sold his year, EIP launched the dual voltage model particularly for the hire market. Speedy Hire was quick to add the 240v version to its fleet in 2006 – and with the dual voltage version available the company expects other leading hirers to follow suite.
With its coated epoxy steel body, fold down handle and large wheels the Kompact is designed to be portable and robust – making transportation from one job to the next simple.
EIP says quiet operation, low running costs and standard features including a condensate pump and hour meter means operators can be confident in leaving the Kompact to get on with the job.
Independently tested by the National Flood School, the Kompact has been described as good value for money with other makes of dehumidifiers in the same class costing up to £150 more. The National Flood School recommends the Kompact as an efficient de-flooding tool.
EIP has also recently introduced a new range of air movers. The three speed airmover is available with or without a trolley while the trolley version consists of a telescopic handle and wheels for convenient transport. The high velocity axial fan tackles carpet and room drying with an optional castor kit available for use when downdraft drying.
All EIP products come with a twelve
month warranty which are also backed up with the company's
in house repair and service
