A right royal restoration
April 1st 2004

Its not every day you get a royal seal of approval, but Ian and Linda Clarke from Rainbow International got just that after their team restored a fire sticken mansion owned by the Jordanian Royal Family.

So pleased were they with Rainbow Internationals response that a prominent member of the Jordanian Royal Family wrote a personal letter of thanks and has asked Ian and Linda if they would consider taking on further cleaning work for other royal households in the UK.

Ian and Linda, franchisees for Thames Estuary North and Rainbow Internationals reigning Franchisees of the Year, won the Royal Familys gratitude after fire ripped through their multi-million pound mansion in London.

The fire started in an upstairs room destroying much of the third floor and a large part of the roof. Fortunately the Royal Family were not in residence when the fire struck, but they were due to stay at the house within two weeks and Ian and Lindas team were given just days to clean up the 55-room mansion.

Working 12-hour shifts, a 15 strong team completed the job in four working days, including removing all debris manually and cleaning all floor coverings, curtains, furniture, ornaments and objects dart.

After a one and half hour video inspection to draw up a detailed work programme, the 15-strong team went in the next morning.

I cant praise the team enough within the space of one and a half days we had worked the equivalent in man-hours of 33 days. Everyone did a brilliant job and they were a credit to the company.

Linda Bailey, who manages the household, commented, They were a pleasure to work with and I am grateful for all their efforts in helping to get our household back to normal as quickly as possible.

When the Royal Family arrived, they were taken on a tour of the property by senior technician, Ian Darlow and Technician, Greg Clarke and expressed gratitude for the professionalism and efficiency in carrying out the work.
