Making light of sweeping

Nilfisk-Advance aims to make light work of sweeping with the introduction of a compact and highly manoeuvrable ride-on sweeper.

The SR 1000S offers an effective solution for indoor and outdoor sweeping in locations ranging from warehouses and workshops to shopping malls and hotel car parks.

The sweeper combines a small size with a high level of cleaning.At just 126 by 100 by 116cm, including side brushes, it is small enough to fit into an elevator and has a tight turning radius for efficient cleaning in tight corners or congested areas.

It can also climb ramps of up to 16% with ease.

The SR 1000 has an electrical filter shaker as standard for enhanced filter cleaning.The remote vacuum option allows the operator to pick up light debris in corners, on shelves or between stacked pallets.A telescopic wand is included for high reach vacuuming.

An optional carpet kit enables the sweeper to be used for cleaning carpeted areas.

Designed for optimum operator comfort, the machine has a fully adjustable sat and steering column.

Filter and brushes can be replaced or accessed for servicing without the need for special tools, resulting in reduced downtime.

In addition, the 50L capacity hopper means operators spend less time emptying, while a flap-lifting device allows collection of large debris without having to stop and pick it manually, so maximising productivity levels.

The SR 1000S is available in either battery or petrol powered versions. Batteries have a running time of up to 2.5h and, with a handy on-board charger, the machine can be recharged anywhere.
