Cool trainer, even cooler feet

The xenova climatec from uvex is an extremely light weight, anti-slip, impact and compression resistant safety shoe. It is manufactured without metal components but has all the strength of a much heavier, metal toecap product.

It is styled like a trainer with green or blue trim on an anthracite body, but uvex believes it is the outstanding wearer comfort achieved with climatec materials and the shock absorbing insole that will make it popular.

The shoe has a petrol/oil resistant, anti-static/ESD, heat resistant and non marking sole and a dual density non-metallic safety toe cap that is superior to steel or aluminium when tested in accordance with EN12568.

Bamboo fibres and ventilation channels convey heat and moisture away from the foot, and Hydroflex GEL biomechanical shock absorbing soles reduces footfall impact by more than 75% further increasing wearer comfort.

An eight hour shift on a concrete factory floor will feel very different to a worker whose feet are not irritated by dampness or heat, or chafed by internal seams and stitching.
