NEW DIVISION ESTABLISHED
August 1st 2004

Hygiene, has launched a new division that will supply specialist equipment and disposables directly to the food industry. Hygiene Stores was launched in July to sell products, from specialist chemicals to bespoke brooms, to existing and potential customers.

Wayne Woodall, who is in charge of the new division, says We think weve found a niche by offering the cleaning products needed specifically by the food and pharmaceutical industries at discount prices.

Its obvious that we use specialist chemicals in these sensitive industries, but their exacting demands cover all materials to be taken into production areas. For example, hairnets have metal strips so they can be traced should they drop into machinery, while mops have to be expertly stitched and brushes bonded so parts cannot fall out and contaminate the product.
