For scouring without scratching
December 1st 2007 3M has launched two new
products for the kitchen, the
Scotch-Brite Purple Scouring Pad
and Oil Monitoring strips.
The company says its pads
effectively remove dirt and grime
without leaving any scratches.
The scouring pad features tough
coiled fibres and an open web
construction allowing food debris
to rinse out easily. The pad is
suitable for pots and pans, stainless
steel surfaces and countertops.
Constructed from tough, durable
material, the pad lasts up to 10
times longer than standard
conventional, medium duty
scouring pads.Used wet or dry it
takes the effort out of cleaning up
kitchen mess.The Oil Monitoring
strips are an easy-to-use,
inexpensive way to help control the
quality of fried foods. Strips are
dipped into the hot oil and the
change in colour bands indicates
