High hygiene, low waste
February 1st 2008

A range of towel and toilet paper dispensers has been introduced by Metsa Tissue for use in away-from-home washrooms. Primarily for high volume applications, the Katrin system dispensers are made of durable, easy-to-clean materials.

The key product in the range is the Katrin mechanical towel dispenser. This holds two rolls of paper, each containing enough flat sheets to dry hands up to 450 times, with the reserve roll dropping into position once the last sheet of the first roll has been used. The system is said to ensure zero paper wastage, while achieving high levels of hygiene.

Also in the Katrin range is a battery powered dispenser that automatically presents towels for use from 800 sheet rolls. It can dry hands up to 53 000 times on one set of batteries.
