Blue wipes for green firm
February 1st 2008 Ardent Energy, which produces
biodiesel as an environmentallyfriendly
alternative to diesel at
its plant in Motherwell,
Scotland, has opted for SCA's
Tork Advanced 440 blue
performance wipers for use in
its workshop areas.
The strong, bulky wiper is
aimed at engineering and
mechanical environments and
efficiently absorbs oily spills. Its
softness is said to offer
protection to the hands, even
when the wiper is repeatedly
used through a working shift.
This is the latest in a series of
contracts with environmentallyfriendly
firms that have been
awarded to SCA since it was
named the world's second
