Scrubber dryer swings into action to produce sparkling results
December 1st 2010 The new TASKI swingo 350B ultra-compact
scrubber dryer by Diversey is said to
combine innovation and technology to
deliver floor cleaning performance in any
application.The scrubber dryer is suitable for
kitchens,washrooms and small retail units that
currently do their cleaning manually where it can
cut energy and water consumption by an
estimated 60%.
The new scrubber dryer is the smallest battery
powered machine in the range. Low noise and the
absence of a power cable makes it suitable for
daytime and frequent cleaning applications in
busy and confined areas. It removes dirt and
leaves the floor dry and ready to be walked on
with reduced risk of the slip and trip accidents that
are one of the biggest causes of injury in the
workplace and public spaces.The tricycle castor
configuration and design of the pick up
mechanism helps the v-shaped squeegee blade follow the contours
of the floor over rough and uneven surfaces and also when operated
in reverse.Direct suction line is said to reduce the risk of clogging.
The scrubber dryer can turn on the spot while the low height of
45cm and folding handle allows it to clean under obstacles such as
tables and racks.The machine is available with a choice of roller
brushes for different floor types.
The controls are similar to those on other TASKI swingo scrubber
dryer. A height-adjustable handle ensures comfort during cleaning
even when operating along walls or under racks and tables.
The machine incorporates the integrated BMS battery
management system allowing the machine to be plugged in to any
available power socket whenever required.
During machine operation the BMS monitors the energy used and
prevents deep discharging to protect
