New pressure hose launched
April 1st 2011

QJS has launched a new high pressure hose, designed for use with high pressure systems in the food processing industry.

The Gauntlet hose features a cut resistant Carbryn cover which can withstand attacks from chemicals and abrasion.

Ted Turner, senior partner at QJS said:"This new range of hoses has been designed with the customer in mind. They have amazing durability and will last much longer than many products on the market.

"It's important that in an economic climate like this where businesses are continually looking for ways of saving money that they invest in a product that will last. They don't want to have to keep changing their hoses every few weeks and incurring additional costs. The Gauntlet hose is extremely good value for money when looked at its cost over time, when compared to cheaper alternatives. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and these hoses are no exception." The hoses are available in blue and yellow and vary in sizes from 10 to 40m in length, with swaged end fittings to suit the customers' system.

They have a maximum temperature rating of 121°C and pressure rating of 4500psi.
