Drums need volume August 1st 2009 The new Huebsch 55 tumble
dryer is an important extension
to the range of energy efficient
axial flow dryers from
Armstrong. It has a drum volume
of 491 litres yet at 902mm it is
narrower than the 528 litre
model.This means the services of
a bigger dryer are available
despite space restrictions,
particularly narrow doorways.
Axial airflow means the drying
air is forced through the load
from the back of the machine
which has sealed cylinder rims so
that the air does not escape
through the door. It is more
efficient than a vertical airflow,
and it's claimed energy savings of
up to 50% can be made in
comparison with earlier models.
Armstrong says the savings can
make the replacement of older
machines an economical
proposition, even when they are
still working. More articles from Armstrong Commercial Laundry Systems: |
