August 1st 2008 Hollybush House is an Ex Services
Welfare Society care home in
Ayrshire and Armstrong
Commercial Laundry Systems
has recently provided it with a
new laundry.
"Price is extremely important,
especially since we are a charity,"
explains Diane McAughtrie,
facilities manager, "and so is the
quality of the service. Armstrong
were outstanding".
A 7kg Primus washer-extractor,
a 201l Huebsch tumble dryer and
a 1000mm rotary ironer were
selected for the laundry. All clients'
clothing, all linen from the rooms,
curtains and kitchen cloths are
processed on the premises.
"The Armstrong equipment is
fantastic.There's the right
programme for everything we do
and the results are absolutely
beautiful, even the jumpers.The
ironer makes
short work of
the sheets
and duvet
covers and
the whole
laundry is so
quiet I can
hear myself
singing as I
work."
