Industrial vacuum systems for clean-up and bulk handling
October 1st 2004

Following the acquisition of Norclean by Nederman Holding AB, the Norclean range of portable, transportable and fixed vacuum systems is now available from Nederman UK.

Norclean has a well established industry pedigree, supplying vacuum systems to the petrochemical, oil industry, shipping, nuclear, food and pharmaceutical sectors

The Norclean range comprises compressed air driven ejector type systems, portable electric systems, and electric or diesel powered stationery systems. These cover applications ranging from occasional workplace clean-up to fixed systems for round-the-clock heavy duty bulk materials handling.

There are 17 different models in the AB ejector range. These systems have no electric motors or moving parts, relying instead on the pressure drop caused by compressed air passing through a venturi-type ejector to generate a powerful vacuum.Norclean’s ejector design is claimed to be among the most efficient available, providing performance characteristics around 20% better than alternative configurations.

Ejector type vacuum systems are ideal for use in industries such as oil and petrochemical processing where electrical equipment would represent a fire or explosion hazard. Moreover, the absence of moving parts confers very high levels of reliability and durability.

Norclean ejector vacuum systems are available with a wide range of self cleaning and/or specialised filtration options. Likewise certain models feature components manufactured using stainless steel and other materials to provide optimum resistance to corrosion or abrasion.

The BB range of wheeled and frame mounted electric powered vacuum units comprises eleven models. These offer power ratings from 1.6kW single phase units up to 5.5kW three-phase, suitable for continuous use. Much attention has been paid to combining high vacuum efficiency with low noise levels, whilst the systems can be used for collecting water and non-flammable liquids as well as granular materials and dust. A range of filter options allow customers to select the most appropriate solution for their application.

In addition to its range of packaged systems Norclean also offers a range of CB heavy duty stationery units for applications requiring up to 37kW.These are principally designed for integration into centralised vacuum systems used for a range of materials handling applications.

Norclean has over thirty years experience of developing bespoke systems for heavy duty material pick -up and vacuum transportation, and applying them across a range of industry sectors.

Across the range of Norclean product, users benefit from robust construction, ease of routine maintenance and cleaning, and efficient after-sales service. Larger units have self-cleaning filters while compatible filter packages available from Norclean provides a fully comprehensive range of workplace safety solutions.
