Preventing the spread of pandemic

Jangro is backing the Government's Swine Flu educational programme. It has produced a leaflet containing useful information with advice on good healthcare practice and a selection of six ranges of products that will prevent the pandemic spreading.

The leaflet is available from Jangro headquarters or any of its regional member organisations. It is designed for specifiers, buyers, health and safety officers within business, education and all other workplaces. The document stresses the importance of the two major ways to control the spread of flu and other viruses – hand hygiene and the control of coughing and sneezing.

Highlighted on the leaflet are five product categories to minimise the risk of infection; facial tissues; hand washing and drying; alcohol gel hand gel and rub; surface cleaning products; face masks and gloves. A top seller is Jangro Surface Sanitising Wipes that kill the Swine Flu virus H1N.
