Wipes get tuff
February 1st 2010 Vernacare's Tuffie cleaning and
disinfecting wipes will continue
to reinforce infection prevention
in Scottish hospitals following a
new framework agreement with
NHS Scotland to supply the
complete Tuffie range.
NHS Scotland will supply the
new Tuffie 5 wipe, which is
scientifically proven to eradicate
Swine Flu, as well as Norovirus, C.
Diff and MRSA. It is certified
effective against all five major
groups of pathogens (spores,
bacteria,mycobacteria, yeasts
and fungi and viruses).

awarded a further contract to
supply NHS Scotland and are

product manager.
The Tuffie 5 pre-impregnated
wet wipe cleans and disinfects all
hard surfaces and equipment
and avoids the need to use two
