The sky's the limit June 1st 2010 Stepping up its approach to
protecting passengers and
employees from exposure to viral
infection both on and off board,
Alaska Airlines has ruled that
super-antimicrobial substance,
Byotrol be used across all
aspects of its operation from
ticket desks to aircraft cabins.
Byotrol is proven to kill germs
and viruses including H1N1
(Swine Flu) and MRSA on contact,
as well as forming a long-lasting
barrier on any surface it is
applied to, including hands, to
prevent re-infection for many
hours, says the company.
Alaska Airlines had used a
Byotrol-based surface cleaner
and sanitiser since 2008, but the
outbreak of Swine Flu prompted
them to issue kits containing
Byotrol Hand Sanitiser and
Surface Wipes to every
department.
"Byotrol's non-toxic
formulation and long-lasting
germ kill abilities make it
paticularly pertinent for use
across the passenger transport
and leisure arenas," says David
McRobbie, CEO of Byotrol. More articles from Byotrol: |
