It's looking up for neck pain prevention
June 1st 2009

PPE specialist JSP is launching a Dragon Den's winner in Necprotech, a neck support designed to combat the neck pain, strain and injury associated with looking up for long periods.

Endorsed by a leading work safety body,Necprotech will ensure work doesn't have to be a pain in the neck anymore claims the company.

Neck and upper limb disorders account for 45% of all work related disorders in Europe according to a recent EU study.

Necprotech will assist painters, plasterers, window cleaners, boat builders, telecoms engineers and all workers who spend time looking up while working.

The support technology is made of ABS plastic, connected to a harness that the user straps into like strapping into a backpack. Straps at chest level are used to pull the support into the neck, which can then be manually adjusted through a ratchet system. It has removable padding for additional comfort.
