Cut paper costs April 1st 2010 Companies are cutting their
paper costs and saving hours of
maintenance by switching to
Tork washroom systems says the
company.
One food manufacturer
switched from using centrefeed
rolls, to Tork Advanced Blue Hand
Towel Roll in washrooms and, as a
general-use wiper in production
areas.
The Tork hand towel roll
naturally discourages users from
taking out more paper than they
need.
Staff now use just two or three
sheets at a time rather than a
long length of centrefeed towel.
Each roll holds sufficient paper
for up to 400 visitors so fewer
rolls are needed.
Tork says the company claims
to have cut its paper costs by
14% a year as a result – while also
saving around eight hours'
maintenance time each day on
refilling its 50 dispensers.Contact
