October 1st 2004 For over 5 years PSA Hygiene has been supplying the Envirochem range of solid detergents to customers in London and the South East. After seeing significant growth in sales of dishwasher detergents PSA has now been appointed European Distributor for the complete range of Envirochem Products.
Solid detergents have many advantages over traditional liquid products. They cannot be spilled, splashed or mixed by hand which greatly reduces the risk of employee contact with chemicals. In addition to these Health and Safety improvements using solid detergents reduces storage space by up to 80%. No water to ship also means less weight. The average solid capsule weighs 3.7kg compared with 25kg for a 20 litre drum of liquids. A small capsule is also easier to dispose of than the larger plastic containers All solid detergents are bio-degradable making the Envirochem range an environmentally friendly option.
Solid detergents also have an infinite shelf life as the product can not separate as can liquids neither are they affected by hot or cold temperatures therefore customers no longer experience the problem of viscosity variations.
To ensure customers get the optimum performance and benefits from using solids, PSA Hygiene has its own dishwasher dispenser. This all-in-one bowl and dispenser can be used on all dishwasher machines from small under counter machines to the larger conveyor machines. The unit comes pre-wired for ease of installation and requires minimal maintenance.
Customers already converted to solid dishwash detergents experience savings of up to 30% on chemical usage. With 5 different dishwasher detergents PSA are able to offer a suitable product to meet all customer specific requirements.
To further complement the warewash range, a manual pot & pan detergent is also available as well as specialist products for pan washers and de-staining.
PSA Hygiene can also offer a range of solid laundry detergents consisting of detergent, destainer and softener. There is also an all in one laundry product for use in smaller laundries. Included in this range is a softener, detergent, and destainer along with an all in one detergent/softener for smaller laundries.
