Renault is set to break new ground with the launch of a new pilot scheme of three stand-alone specialist Van Service Centres. The centres are a completely new concept for Renault and for the first time, separate facilities aimed directly at the needs of van customers will operate off-site from main Renault dealerships, with the aim of reducing booking times for business users where time = money.

Over the next three years Renault aim to establish a network of 50 Renault Van Service Centres sites across the UK, starting with an initial 20 sites by the end of 2003. Customers will be able to take advantage of the benefits of the new van service centres including:

Dedicate van workshop facility including Class VII MOT facilities

Dedicate van specialists who know and understand the van customers and the van market, and have the technical ability to handle problems

Flexible opening hours, longer in the week and weekend opening to suit the local market

Additional retail service capacity within existing workshops

Philippe Talou-Derible, managing director of Renault UK, said The launch of

the new van service centres form part of an on-going strategy to

significantly increase service capacity across the Renault network and are a

natural evolution of Renaults existing Business Centre network which has specialised in selling vans and fleet vehicles.

the success of Renaults van

sales over the last few years, as well

as being a significant step forward

in our continuing quest to ensure

all our customer needs are catered

for.

The first three Renault Van Centres are located at City Motors, Bristol, Bury Motors, Bury and Driveline, Ashford.
