Better for stop-start operations
December 1st 2004

Oxford City Council has just acquired 16 Citron Berlingo 600 LX 1.4i vans and three Berlingo Multispace Forte 1.4i cars, all independently converted for petrol/liquid petroleum gas (lpg) dual fuel operation. After trying a number of light commercial vehicles, the Berlingos were selected for a variety of purposes including transport for mobile caretakers and gas fitters, most of which involve considerable stop-start operations.
