Cleaning equipment manufacturer, Nilfisk-Advance, is introducing Contract Cover Service Pledge, a range of all-inclusive service packages designed specifically for contract cleaners. Nilfisk-Advances new service offerings will be available to all direct account contract cleaners regardless of size, providing comprehensive cover, including lifetime parts and labour warranty at ultra-low weekly prices.
The top spec Gold Star Contract Cover Service Pledge from Nilfisk-Advance includes:
1. Four full services per year including PAT test
2. Same day call out for all breakdowns and repairs including weekends
3. All spare parts included (including replacement battery where necessary)
4. Operator misuse and abuse cover
5. FREE loan machine if yours is not repaired within 48 hours (with no surcharge even if your machine is broken through operator abuse).
Nilfisk-Advance promises this total peace of mind cover will be available to all contract cleaners at low weekly rates. As an example, Gold Star Contract Cover on the popular Nilfisk-Advance BA 530, a battery-operated walk-behind Scrubber/Dryer with a 24-inch scrub path, costs just 8.50 per week for a 3 year contract. A reduced rate Silver Star option will also be available, which gives a slightly reduced cover package. The aim is to break even with this initiative, it will not be another method of getting profit. Nilfisk-Advance has identified service as a high priority for the purchaser and it is hoped that this will be a way to generate machine sales.
This Contract Cover service initiative from Nilfisk-Advance also offers contract cleaners a number of additional options, subject to fleet size, such as:
On-line tracking via a secure intranet site, which gives managers access to real time information on each machines service history, dates of planned maintenance visits, consumable usage and hours run information and details of outstanding and cleared breakdown call-outs.
Rainbow Servicing. For larger contract customers, Nilfisk-Advance will create a total fleet service that includes both Nilfisk-Advance machines and all other machines in the fleet irrespective of manufacturer.
For larger contracts Nilfisk-Advance will manufacture machines in colour schemes to suit either the contract cleaners or the clients corporate colours.
WEEE disposal. All mains and battery scrubber/dryers and sweepers supplied by Nilfisk-Advance on a like-for-like replacement basis now carry the added benefit of a free collection and recycling service for the old machine, regardless of manufacturer. This service guarantees to recycle between 45% and 60% of machines prior to environmental and safe disposal as required under the European WEEE (Waste Electrical Electronic Equipment) directive.
The new Contract Cover Service Pledge from Nilfisk-Advance will be delivered by a team of 27 directly employed service engineers. Nilfisk-Advance operates the latest DataTrak sat-nav tracking system at its Service Centre in Bury St Edmunds, which pinpoints the precise location of each engineer on-screen and ensures the most effective call out of the nearest available engineer. Service engineers will carry all key spares on the van for a first time fix. If the part needed is not on the van the engineer will call for overnight delivery (at no extra cost) and be there for a next-day fix.
