X-factor attracts TSB to LCC
June 1st 2008

When TSB wanted its South East region high street banks cleaned, LCC took on an extra 60 experienced cleaners to deliver Project Xtreme Clean.

After intensive training, the team was then able to deliver a thorough 'Xtreme' clean to a single branch every night.

Alongside routine dusting and vacuuming, the job involved involved total wall washing, specialised graffiti removal and high level maintenance. There was also thorough cleaning of carpets and upholstery incorporating stain removal. All hard floors and surfaces were deep cleaned which included specialist stripping and polishing of floors.

Work only commenced after the branch closed for business.

The 14 LCC Xtreme Clean Teams, consisting of a Supervisor and 4 operatives, then proceeded with their 8 hour shift. During this time the project management team consistently monitored cleaning standards and the wellbeing of all LCC staff.

The Xtreme Clean project took 6 months to complete and staff and customers alike noticed the difference.

"At times the deadlines were tough but a total team effort all round proved a great success, so much so we finished the project nearly two weeks early," says LCC operations compliance manager, John Wilson.
