Taking care of innovative ideas December 1st 2006 Leisure Support Services has won the contract to look after The RSA (originally the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, set up in 1754 to encourage innovation) headquarters in central London. The contract – for housekeeping, waste removal and recycling – is in line with the RSA's commitment towards a zero-waste society. It was awarded after a four month tendering process to find a company that could resolve waste recycling problems as well as reduce environmental impact. "This is a considerable responsibility and one which fits our own view of the need to minimise environmental impacts in all that we do," says md Peter Watts. More articles from O. C. S.
