Strand retains top contracts
October 1st 2006

Strand has retained two of its most prestigious clients – the Financial Services Authority and the Wellcome Trust (pictured) – after a rigorous and highly competitive retendering process.

The company puts the successes down to its 'Fresh Approach' philosophy for re-tendering.This includes stringent independent service level audits, innovation including introduction of new technology, computerised monitoring,'open book' transparent accountability and improved rewards for front line employees.

The company does everything from window cleaning to waste management.

At the FSA, introducing new technologies has allowed Strand to reduce staffing levels without compromising quality standards.
