Rapid response deep clean unit

Contractor City & Kent has launched a dedicated hospital and healthcare deep cleaning service.

Available to hospitals that clean in-house as well as those who contract out, the service will be operated by C & K subsidiary Intensive Deep Clean Systems (iDCS) and will cover all facets of hospital cleaning.

The firm has 30 years of healthcare cleaning experience and the full iDCS service menu comprises:

Steam decontamination to sanitise hospital surfaces and equipment, both in wards, isolation rooms and theatres

Air management of wards and isolation rooms in order to help prevent aerosolisation of micro-organisms spreading disease or infection from patient to patient

Ultrasonic patient equipment cleaning as part of Infection Control

Zone control matting and overshoe protection to reduce soil contamination coming in from outside the hospital or from ward to ward

The provision of a microfibre service for efficient cleaning using water only, including the controlled laundering of used cloths.

Clients may decide for themselves which elements of the iDCS menu they require in order to prevent infection on the wards, and which aspects will best integrate with their existing cleaning service.
