Manufacturers look at cleaning indepth
December 1st 2010 In Depth have implemented a
new and improved cleaning
regime for GKN Driveline's
manufacturing plant in
Birmingham.
To maintain a high
level of hygiene and
cleanliness which
the manufacturing
process requires, In
Depth have put
together a team of 9
full time cleaners
working 5 days a
week and an
automated cleaning process to
keep the facility spotless. In
addition, there is also a full time
site manager responsible for
overseeing the cleaning process.
Peter Middleton, facility
manager, comments,"There has
been an excellent improvement
in the standard of cleanliness,
particularly in difficult times of
internal change
at the facility.
We are very
impressed with
the pro active
cleaning
standard being
achieved.The
onsite manager
has played a
key part in achieving this, as
problems are dealt with as they
