London Midland operates train services through the heart of England from London to Birmingham to Liverpool. It manages 149 stations and operates over 1,200 services a day.In Depth Managed Services has been working with the company since the franchise began operating in November 2007.

London Midland holds regular 'Meet the Manager' events so passengers can let them know where improvements need to be made.As a result of feedback, it asked In Depth to commence a deep cleaning programme at railway stations focusing on Snow Hill in Birmingham.

In Depth cleaning operatives set to work with award-winning results. Each month London Midland presents Bronze Awards to acknowledge top performance and achievements. An award was presented to In Depth cleaners Rickie Briscoe,Mwavita Aminah, Neneh Fatouba and Michael Lloyd for raising the standard of cleanliness and improving the appearance of Snow Hill.

"What makes this award an even greater achievement is that it is the first time London Midland has presented this honour to anyone who wasn't one of their own staff," says Tony Beamish, regional network director.

"They have made an amazing difference to the station and we are all very grateful to them," says Simon James, station manager.
