Cleaning up the north
December 1st 2009

LCC Support Services has started a new cleaning contract at Piccadilly Place, adjacent to Piccadilly Station in Manchester – a vibrant landmark city development, managed by Carillion.

The contract for the cleaning of the common parts of the development consists of five spectacular buildings totalling 657,000ft2 of demised office, retail and residential accommodation. It was awarded to LCC in August 2009 and will be operated from its new Warrington offices.

"During the tender process LCC impressed us with its openness and bid transparency," says Clive Bartlam, project director for Argent, development asset managers,"along with its approach to monitoring standards and practices to ensure continual improvement of service delivery." Looking forward to a longterm relationship with LCC, Desmond Hill, accounts director for Carillion says,"I have been impressed with the commitment shown by LCC in delivering mobilisation. It has reinforced my opinion that we have found a company that we can work with in a true partnership." For further information about LCC please contact Bob Vincent at LCC Support Services.
