Truck lining saves council's cash
December 1st 2007

Staffordshire County Council has standardised on Speedliner spray liner material for its special-purpose vehicles.

Speedliner protects against abrasion, corrosion and chemicals, providing an easy to clean professional finish.

"We need a tough, anti-slip coating that stops the contents moving about - and one that prevents corrosion," says Staffordshire County Council workshop manager, Barry Pearson."Speedliner can be repeatedly hosed down and even after three of four years of a hard life, it still looks as good as new.And there's no doubt it adds value to the vehicle when we dispose of it." The council uses Speedliner on a wide range of vehicles, including the white line department vans, grounds maintenance vans and pick ups and road maintenance Land Rover pick ups.
