Slash staff sickies simply
August 1st 2008

According to the CBI, 172 million working days were lost across the UK economy in 2007.Minor illnesses are the number one cause of short term sickness. And with a recent Which? report highlighting that computer keyboards are "five times dirtier than your toilet seat", firms who want to cut absence levels need a solution to the problem.

Signature Aromas air fragrancing systems don't use chemical or artificial elements, only 100 per cent oils, meaning they are safer than chemical propellants.

Each of the oil-pregnated disks and cubes are COSHE approved and made using a minimum of 60 per cent recycled product and binder. Once they expire, the disks and cubes are clossified as fully bio-degradable and can be disposed of as paper waste.

Signature has nearly 50 different aromas as standard. The firm has instaled natural air fragrancing systems in nearly 300 hospitals, care and nursing homes throughout the UK.

"We've spent time and money developing our Vaparoma, Suparoma and Restaroma systems, and believe they are not only better for you health-wise but are also eco-friendly," says Signature MD, Brian Chappell.

The answer, according to Deb is InstantFOAM,brought to market in partnership with Dettol.

Christine Mottershead, marketing manager for Deb UK says the foam is a cost effective solution.

"By using Deb InstantFOAM, employers can reduce absence costs, improve staff moral and therefore productivity for less than 6p per worker per day."
