Bright ideas for laundry systems
June 1st 2006

Brightwell Dispensers launched laundry systems at both ends of the spectrum at this year's Interclean.

At the entry level, where simplicity and cost are key, the company introduced the Duoplus to the international market. A two product dispenser in a compact single cabinet, Duoplus is complete with its own remote formula select (where required) and offers significant savings on the BSL range without compromising performance, claims the company. It offers a limited range of dispense alternatives, with variable speed and time, and options for increased detergent for heavy soiling and a reduced amount for half loads.

New to the top end is the company's BrightNet system, which Brightwell says was well received by companies from all parts of the globe. The company puts this down to BrightNet's ability to monitor remotely any item of BrightNet-compatible laundry equipment installed anywhere in the world using GPRS technology. Available as an optional extra on all new systems, the circuitry which enables the unit can also be retrofitted to any existing BrightStar laundry equipment in a matter of minutes.

The company says BrightNet makes routine and costly service calls a thing of the past, and enables preventative maintenance to be planned for items such as pump heads or tubing, with the system showing exactly when such items need to be changed.

Brightwell says it is able to supply the system at a price that offers considerable savings for medium to high volume customers. Data captured and relayed to customers is comprehensive, and includes automatic reporting, remote simulation and fault-finding.

Owners can also receive diagnostic information via text or email, should anomolies occur.
