Laundry chemical dosing system
October 1st 2005 Brightwell Dispensers, a leading independent manufacturer of Dispensers for Soaps, Gels, Creams, Liquid Chemicals, Detergents and Paper Products, is launching a new dispenser for laundry chemical dosing, continuing its ethos of value for money harnessed to the latest technology. Already recognised as the market leader in laundry systems by many independent installation engineers, Brightwell aims to maintain that position, and at an entry-level price in situations where just two chemicals are used.
Called the Duoplus, the unit draws on years of experience at Brightwell and like each of its sister products, it is housed in a water resistant IP66 rated enclosure, is CE approved and EMC compliant.
Capable of automatically dosing two chemicals, it also offers ease of operation with an optional remote Formula module, enabling the operator to choose from Detergent & Softener, and Detergent & Destainer programmes.
This new dispenser comes in a compact key-less secure and attractive case, and programming is through a four-button membrane, which has prime and pump stop modes as standard. It comes with access code lock-out and a two times 16 digit LCD screen for simple programming. The membrane is protected by a cover which can be customised with the customer's logo.
Duoplus can also be programmed to cater for variations in the amount of chemical dosed, for example in circumstances where soiling is heavy or alternatively for half loads. Run time and pump speed can be varied to cope with dose rates and viscosity, and has run time and cycle data collection capability.
In keeping with the company's leading edge technology, the unit uses Brightwell's patented double pumphead, a low maintenance, fully sealed and disposable unit that is easy and quick to change, and enables dual product dosing from a compact stylish single motor cabinet. The usual tubing options are available.
