Easy pumping for products
October 1st 2008

The new dispensing pump from Rieke Dispensing handles a wide range of viscosities and can be fitted to different sizes of bottle depending on the application required

The RS30 dispenser from Rieke Dispensing claims to be one of the most versatile and durable pumps produced. It is designed to handle a wide range of product viscosities, with a variety of dosing options, and is capable of fitting a broad range of bottle capacities. The RS30 has safety features including tamper evidence and improved security during shipping. The company says it is particularly suitable for janitorial products where ease of operation and long term reliability are important.

The RS30 features a modular design that enables it to handle a huge variety of product types, from free-flowing liquids such as water, to products with extremely high viscosities (60,000cps), which can also include small particulates.

A special safety feature is the availability of a tamper-evident collar. Rieke claims that this is the first time this has been made available on this type of pump. The dispenser also has a high level of thread engagement in the lock down position (1.5 full turns), which means that the RS30 cannot ‘pop open’ during transit, ensuring safe and secure distribution.

The design of the pump features a wide plunger and collar interface to provide a robust finish that offers durability and stability even in the fully up position. A variety of ball and flap valves are available to suit the particular characteristics of different products. The head design has also been created to enable discharge at a variety of angles, including near vertical.

The combination of long life and convenience features makes the pump suitable for all applications where reliable repeatability is essential.

The RS30’s versatility is further enhanced by its availability in two lengths, providing a dose range of 5–30ml, while enabling it to fit a variety of closure sizes and bottle capacities.

“With the variety of options available in terms of dosage, product handling and closure sizes, the RS30 can be precisely tailored to the needs of individual products,” says Warren Wharton, sales and marketing director, Rieke Dispensing.
