Laundry workload solved December 1st 2010
North British Distillery has switched
from using an outside contractor
for its laundry needs to operating
its own premises laundry installed
and supported by Armstrong
Commercial Laundry Systems.
The company's large workforce
needed a considerable
investment in workwear and its
processing as the workload
required each worker to have
four of five sets of uniforms.
The new laundry consists of a
10kg Primus washer extractor
and a Huebsch tumble dryer and
is operated by seven or eight
man crews,working to a rota.
"In the two years we have
operated the laundry we have
never had the slightest problem
and our maintenance contract
with Armstrong gives us complete
peace of mind," says engineering
manager,Graham Manson. More articles from Armstrong Commercial Laundry Systems: |
