Chemicals on the nail
June 1st 2007

With a targeted market supplying nursing homes with hygiene consumables, incontinence products, personnel wear and medical products, Intacare Hygiene is fast becoming one of cleaning chemical manufacturer Greyland's busiest distributors

Based on the edge of South East London at Erith, within easy reach of the M25 and therefore the national motorway network, Intacare Hygiene is one of those companies blessed with a long pedigree of over 30 years in the business, yet has a young and enthusiastic team driving the business to new heights.

As an active Greyland brand distributor, Intacare Hygiene buys most of the range, including toilet and washroom, catering, hard surface cleaners, handcare, floorcare, and housekeeping products. They are particularly pleased that their customers are always impressed with the pleasantly fragranced washroom cleaners.

Intacare Hygiene managing director, Ian Logie, explains the logic behind their choice: "As part of a busy paper disposables manufacturing group, when we were looking for a chemical supplier we applied the same rationale that customers apply to ourselves: we wanted a professional manufacturer with quality products, great service, and an excellent pricing structure.

"Regular contact from the sales manager,Roger Davies, is backed up by product training when required, and safety data sheets are readily available." Greyland's standard order to delivery cycle for its branded products is four days to anywhere in the UK, despite rapid growth in turnover over the last couple of years.

To ensure its order fulfilment rate remains intact, the company has continued to reinvest in manufacturing equipment, transport and handling and recently acquired another warehouse.
