Spray and save 1000s August 1st 2006 Disinfection in food processing is paramount but can require a lot of rather expensive chemicals. Many factories have fixed wall installations, which provide the cleaning staff with all necessary tools for foaming, rinsing and disinfecting.
However, the disinfection process can be also done by a mobile sprayer. This enables the user to save disinfectant chemicals and to reach hidden places better.
Birchmeier Sprhtechnik, the Swiss manufacturer of professional spraying and foaming equipment, says its Spray-Matic 20 SH low pressure spraying unit offers a very simple and economical solution.
The tank and all accessories are made of stainless steel and mounted on a stainless mobile handcart, which the company says saves significant amounts of disinfectant. According to Birchmeier, a major Swiss meat processor confirms that it saved more then 12,000 a year by using this method.
Birchmeier offers also mobile foaming equipment from 0.5 up to 100 litres. More articles from Birchmeier Spruhtechnik AG: |
