Efficiency in warewashing April 1st 2007 Winterhalter has launched a new system that the company says will save energy and costs associated with warewashing.
The latest option, Energy, is designed to recycle heat during the wash cycle, and eliminate the steam and hot air released by warewashers.
Designed specifically for the GS 502 and GS 515 pass-through warewashers, the Energy system uses the heat from the washwater steam to heat the incoming cold washwater, releasing cool dry air into the kitchen. According to Winterhalter, the total energy loading can be decreased by up to 3kW, resulting in savings of up to £450 a year.
The reduction in heat and steam also make the working environment more comfortable.
In addition, the extraction of the steam improves hygiene. More articles from Winterhalter UK: |
